These fonts are suitable for both Thai and English on the Zaurus. They can also be used on any Qtopia based platform. This is part of my Thai on Zaurus Project.

Installation

  • Warning The installer will restart QPE - save any files before installing and uninstalling. I cannot be held responsible if anything goes wrong during use of this software - install at your own risk.
  • Install only one *sysfont* ipk.
  • Font archives contain both landscape and portrait versions of the font.
  • If you want to replace the default system font (helvetica) then use the *-sysfont.ipk archives. The font will be installed and links made for helvetica to it. New links to the real helvetica will be made under the name of "swiss".
  • If you only want to add the font without replacing the system font then install the *-font.ipk file.
  • The Tahoma font takes up a lot of memory because it has a lot of glyphs for other languages.
  • If you want to convert your own font please see my Zaurus Font How To guide.
